The CSUSB Bands encompass a number of ensembles, including a strong classical program featuring our Symphonic Band & Chamber Winds, an award-winning Jazz Ensemble, and the Wild Bunch, CSUSB’s pep band. 

Our bands perform throughout the year at department concerts, civic events, music competitions and conferences, CSUSB basketball games, and other venues. 

This year, we are proud to introduce the formation of the Inland Empire Youth Wind Symphony. This performing ensemble will be comprised of fifty of the most talented wind, brass, and percussion high school musicians from throughout the Inland Empire. More information can be found by clicking here.

We also host our annual CSUSB High School Honor Band, featuring the most talented young musicians from the Inland Empire rehearsing and performing as one on our campus.  This year’s High School Honor Band will be held on January 19-20, 2008.

All of our ensembles are open to music majors and non-majors alike.  If you are interested in the CSUSB Bands, please let us know – we’d love to have you playing with us!
